Sales associate (16-24 hours/week)

Vacancy: Sales assistant (16-24 hours per week) at The Twinning Company, Culemborg.

What will you do?
As a sales associate at The Twinning Company, you play a vital role in creating a great shopping experience for our customers.
You will welcome customers to our store, share the story behind our handmade products and inspire them to choose sustainability and craftsmanship.
With your knowledge and enthusiasm, you will help customers make informed choices and contribute to increasing awareness and appreciation of artisan products.

Responsibilities:
We like to look together at your qualities and talents and how we can best use them. But your responsibilities will include at least the following:
– Actively approach and assist customers in making purchasing decisions
– Ensure an inspiring and attractive store environment.
– Handle checkout activities, including payments, packing and returns
– Manage inventory and ensure timely replenishment of products.
– Continue to learn and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and increase product knowledge
– Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals and increase customer satisfaction
Do you bring qualities in the following areas: Product photography, creating window displays, putting together product collections, developing a sales strategy? There is certainly room for this, and we are happy to discuss how we can flesh this out further.

You will be part of:
A small team of sales associates, currently consisting of 3 people all working part-time.

Job Requirements:
– Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Enthusiasm to inspire customers and create awareness of handmade products
– Able to work independently and take responsibility
– Basic knowledge of checkout systems and experience handling payments
– Physically able to work standing and lifting products for extended periods of time.
