The olive wood should be cleaned with a soft brush, lukewarm water and soap before first use. Avoid prolonged exposure to water and heat. Olive wood is not suitable for the dishwasher. Wood is naturally subject to change and cracks may appear over time. To maintain its beautiful color and shine, olive wood should occasionally be treated with a special maintenance wax or olive oil.
